Magister Fisika / Master in Physics

Program studi Magister Fisika Universitas Gadjah Mada awalnya bernama program studi S2 Ilmu Fisika, didirikan secara resmi berdasarkan Surat Keputusan Direktorat Jenderal Pendidikan Tinggi, Departemen Pendidikan dan Kebudayaan, Republik Indonesia, dengan SK Nomor 580/Dikti/Kep/1993 tertanggal 29 September 1993, dengan nama prodinya adalah prodi S2 Ilmu Fisika. SK tersebut diperbaharui dengan SK Dirjen Dikti Nomor 153/DIKTI/Kep/2007 tertanggal 21 September 2007, dengan nama prodi yang sama. Dengan SK Rektor UGM Nomor 526/P/SK/HT/2008, Tentang Penataan dan Penetapan Kembali Izin Penyelenggaraan Program Studi di Universitas Gadjah Mada, tertanggal 24 November 2008, program studi S2 Ilmu Fisika UGM diubah namanya menjadi Program Studi S2 Fisika.

The Master’s Program in Physics at Universitas Gadjah Mada was originally established under the name Master’s Program in Physical Sciences (S2 Ilmu Fisika). The program was formally founded pursuant to the Decree of the Director General of Higher Education, Ministry of Education and Culture of the Republic of Indonesia No. 580/Dikti/Kep/1993, dated 29 September 1993, under its original designation as the Master’s Program in Physical Sciences. This decree was subsequently updated through the Decree of the Director General of Higher Education No. 153/DIKTI/Kep/2007, dated 21 September 2007, which retained the same program name. Following institutional restructuring at Universitas Gadjah Mada, the program was officially renamed the Master’s Program in Physics pursuant to the Rector of Universitas Gadjah Mada Decree No. 526/P/SK/HT/2008 on the Restructuring and Reauthorization of Study Programs at Universitas Gadjah Mada, dated 24 November 2008.
